The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Arnice Faines can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Shaun Stanley and Family

I have lost a beloved member of my family. Arnice was an angel that walked on earth. Although Arnice did not physically have any children, she had an adopted family of five including myself, my wife (Sheila), and my three children (Alexis, William, and Ashleigh). My family loved Arnice dearly, and she will be missed. Arnice impacted the lives of many families in the Baldwin, New York community. She adored the Lennox Elementary School family. The loss of a loved one can be very saddening. However, I know and am here to tell you that God has called her to heaven for the greater good. Thus, we should rejoice and pay tribute to Arnice’s life and the time we had to spend with her. My family and I had experienced so many memorable moments with Arnice; I would not even know where to start if I had to tell a story. She loved us unconditionally through the good times and the bad. God did not want his daughter to suffer and I am good with that. As difficult as it may seem, God’s mercy and grace will get us through this trying time of grieving. Give God thanks that he allowed this wonderful woman to be a part of your life. We love you “Nice”, and we will miss you dearly. The Stanley Family!
