The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Angela Cutliff can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Kathy Zullo

It is a very sad day for me upon hearing of Angela's passing. First, I would like to convey my deepest sympathy to Crystal, Mother Hinnant, and Angela's brother Eddie and sister Diane and her niece Starry. I met Angela when I joined Hi Hello Day Care in Freeport in 1985. We worked together until I left in 1989 to join the Unitarian Church office staff. When an opening occurred, I recommended and Angela took the job as front desk receptionist and secretary to the Pastoral Minister, Rev. Robert Reed in the early 1990's. She went on to become assistant to Mary Grassie, the Administrator at UUCSR. We worked together until our departure in November of 2010. We always had a good working relationship and she was a good friend. Through all the trials and tribulations and good times that life presented, we trusted and relied on each other for support and mutual respect. Angela always conducted herself as the loyal and honorable daughter of the beloved Bishop Hinnant and she was devoted to her parents and family. I was not aware of this latest illness and I imagine she didn't want to burden anyone with her struggle though we would have been glad to pray for her and uplift her spirits in any way we could have to lighten that burden. Alas, it was not to be. My memories will comfort me and because I know the faith and trust in God that the family has, I am sure we will accept His will and that she is home and reunited with her beloved father whom she missed so desperately after his death. Angela, my friend, I will pray for your soul as I hope you will mine now that you are among the Angels in the Heavenly Kingdom. True to your name, you are now the angel we always knew you to be. Pray for us all as you enjoy the fruits of a well-lived life here on earth. Love, Kathy
