Obituary for Gerald Jones

Gerald Jones
Gerald Jones was born into the earth on August 19, 1951 to the parents of Joan and Edward Jones in Jamaica Queens, New York. He was the third child of five and was a twin.

Gerald received his formal education from Francis Lewis High School and completed the twelfth grade. He attended the College of New Rochelle and received his Bachelor’s degree. After receiving his degree, he began working at The Doe Fund; Ready, Willing and Able where he worked as a counselor for many years.

Gerald was a loving and caring person. He was always there for family and friends and never refused to help people.

On January 15, 2015, he left this earth to be where God needed him most. He will forever be missed. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

His memories will be cherished by his mother, Joan Jones; brother, Anthony and wife Evelyn; uncle, George Milligan, his girlfriend Angie Ramsey of twenty years; his nephews, Maurice, Bobby and Damon; nieces, Monique, Sheryl and LaKesa; friends, Carl, Rudy and Gary Lawson; and a host of other nieces and nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to mention.
