Obituary for Mary E. Browne

Mary E. Browne
Mary E. Browne was born on September 6, 1937 in New York City to Dewey and Garnetta E. Bishop. You were a nice little girl, our first born then came your sister Doris in 1939. Your arrival came quickly only about ten or fifteen minutes. The first time I saw you, I looked at you and smiled, you looked at me and smiled. I think, I am not sure. But I am sure that you stepped straight into my heart and stayed there from then until now.

From then until now you grew as a normal little girl and later married Jack Browne and had four lovely children, Debara, Donna Joel and Leah. You were always a good and loving daughter to me. We had fun and hard times together. But one thing I am sure about, to me you were one in a million in your life to me. I have never heard from your mouth to my ears a dirty word or a curse word, no disrespect to me of any kind or a raised had to strike. To me this showed a deep love and respect to one’s parents and it made me proud to be your mother.

I thank God everyday for giving you to me. You and I have many good times together and secrets to each other. You always made me laugh whether I wanted to or not and life was a good time for us. You had me say a million times or more “Ella, I am watching you”. And with a half smile in one eye and on your lips you’d reply, “Yes Mom, I know you are”. We had a deep love for each other. So now my darling we must part for a while. I had to tell you. I will miss you. I feel the ache, deep in my soul. I will always remember our good times we had and live in those memories, until we meet again at Jesus feet.
So my love sleep and rest in peace, you have earned it. Once in a while I will say “Ella, I am watching you”. I will hear you reply “Yes Mom, I know”. All will be at peace. I will always watch out for you and yours.

My darling I thank you and my Heavenly Father for seventy seven years of Love and Respect. From you to me, I am rich indeed!
