Obituary for Nadine Boone

Nadine  Boone
Nadine Boone was born on January 4, 1964 to the late Raoul Boone and Alpine. On Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Long Island Jewish Hospital the angels of the Lord ushered her from labor to reward.

She was educated in the New York City School System and graduated from Hillcrest High School, Jamaica, New York in June 1982. In 1984-86 she attended Drake Business School majoring in Secretarial Science. In 1989-91, she attended York College with a major in Computer Science and received an Associate Degree.

Nadine held numerous positions at Sterns and Macys. She was employed by the New York City Department of Social Services, Human Resources Administration for Twenty Seven years.
Nadine joined Rush Temple African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church on March 22, 1981. She served as President of the Stewardess Board, Leader of Class Number Seven, Treasurer of Women Home and Overseas Missionary Society, a member of Ladies' Usher Board Number One and Supervisor of the Junior Ushers.

Nadine was an avid traveler and visited numerous locations including New Orleans, Hawaii, Las Vegas and Mexico. She loved shopping and her favorite color was purple. One of her hobbies was collecting piggy banks. She stood ready to assist in anyway and was always the designated driver.

Nadine leaves to cherish her memory her loving Mother, Alpine, two brothers, Joseph and Darnell; Two sisters, Candice and Danielle, two sisters-in-law, Kady-Ann and Mylocka; one brother-in-law, Douglas; five uncles, Jimmy, Willie, Thomas, John and Mario; Six aunts, Evelyn, Retana, Kay, Connie, Reverend Barbara Reid, Pat and Gilda; two nieces, Jourden and Ciera; six nephews, Christopher, Joshua, Nathan, Joseph Jr., Lucas and Matthew. A host of God children, relatives, special friends and co-workers.
