Obituary for Jeanette Martinez

Jeanette  Martinez
Jeannette Lavern Martinez was born to the union of Charles Roosevelt and Lois Turner on September 26, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois.

Jeanette attended the University of Islam elementary and graduated from DuSable High School. Jeanette gave birth to her only child a son, Walter. She met and married Odell Broward.

Jeanette moved to New York City in early 1960s and remained there until she departed this life on November 12th, 2014, at 4am.

Jeanette was a member of Unity Fellowship Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing a son Walter Broward; two brothers, Leonard (Yvonne) Turner and Wally (Denise) Turner; two sisters, Saundra Gill and Wanda Ball; a great number of nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
