Obituary for Paul Jerry

Paul  Jerry
Paul Pete Jerry was born June 10, 1932 in Batesburg, South Carolina to the late Mary L. Jerry and Paul Gomelion. He attended public school in South Carolina. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

After being Honorably discharged from the military service Paul relocated to Jamaica, New York. He worked for many years for Ben Newman’s Ice Cream, from which he retired. After retirement, Paul took on a job as a Tour Bus Driver.

He was united in holy matrimony to Grace Thornton Jerry for forty years.

He entered into eternal rest Thursday, November 6, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Jerry, Jr.

His memory will be cherished by his wife, Grace Jerry; daughters, Mary L. Jerry and Geneva (Jospeh) Harris, both of South Carolina; brothers, James (Mary L.) Jerry of Jamaica, NY, Gerald Jerry of Amityville, NY and Samuel (Earnestine) Jerry of Albany, GA; six grandchildren; one great grand; special nephews, Ricky Jerry and Mickey Jerry; sister-in-law, Helen Buckner of Gadsden, AL; along with host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
