Herbert  Callahan Jr.
Today we pay tribute to the life of Mr. Herbert Callahan Jr. and celebrate his home going. Jr. was born in Aiken, South Carolina on May 13, 1937 to Herbert Callahan Sr. and Inez Brown. He departed this life on September 24, 2014 at 7:35 am at his home in Jamaica, New York.

Jr. attended school in Aiken, South Carolina and when he became a young man he moved to New York. Jr. enjoyed fishing, watching comedies on television and loved being outside and enjoying life.

Jr. worked and retired as a Heavy Equipment operator and loved what he did. He had a calm spirit and didn’t complain, even in his illness.

Jr. leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Deborah; his children David, Cookie, Herbert, Judy, William Jason, Joseph and his baby girl Brianna; his loving sister Louise (Tiny) Stinson; brother-in-law Harry Stinson; uncles, Willie James, James Brown and Nathan Callahan; his loving nieces, Texann and Loray; a host of nephews, cousins other relatives and treasured friends.
