To the family of DORA Atkinson Aunt DORA will always be a loving and fond memory in my heart. She always had everyone of her families matters at heart and did everything for everybody. She taught her nieces as well as her children how to be well respected young ladies, by being the prime example of a good wife, a good mother, a good sister and a good aunt. She was a prime example of every category of what a person should be. Giving glory to GOD who was instilled in her life at a early age by her loving parents David and Ruby Roberts that she was inspired to be the person that she needed to be to the end. Grandma,
I love you with all my heart. Thank you for showing me an abundance of love & showing me how to be "danty". Thank you for watching over me, hugging me, making me laughing & the occasional pinch on the behind. You are the true definitely of a mother. I thank you and grandpa for loving my mother the way you did which allowed me to bask in that love as well. Though you both spoiled me something serious, you also instilled value, love and respect in me as well. I wish I was able to spend more time with you. Give you a kiss. Sing to you. Hold your hand. Lord's will we'll have that opportunity again.

I pray that the love you showed for all of your children & those around you will continue on. That the love you had for others would cease any strife, anger & hatred that some maybe harboring towards others for the sake of how open, honest, loving and no-nonsense you were. Thank you for explaining to me early on about forgiveness & family. I'll miss you everyday. I love you.

2 Corinthians 5:8
“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” For the People of God in Christ Jesus we know this is one of God’s assured promises. We know Aunt Dora is “heaven bound” With loving memories Joyce (niece) and Alvina (Great Niece) .

Mommy, I was so blessed to be a part of this family. Thank you for loving me even when I made it hard at times. Thank you for the tough love, all the lessons, raising and teaching me how to be a good person. No matter how terrible people have been to me and the things I been through, you and Daddy taught be to be strong and to remain a good person. Until we meet again I love you bunches!😘😘

Dora Roberts Atkinson was a poised, elegant, and eloquent woman with a powerful personality, authoritative voice, and a hearty LAUGH. She taught us table manners, etiquette, family games, bought us our first pair of "Go-Go" boots and she exemplified that "pioneering spirit" of leaving her native home of Pittsburgh in search of a "venture life". She started her career, married well, gave birth to two beautiful daughters and later adopting children giving us additional beautiful cousins. Thank you Aunt Dora and Uncle Gleno! Well lived lives!!!! You are "Beautiful"! Love, Robin, Carla, Tracy (Inez Roberts Baulding & Robert Earl Baulding Family (Dora's sister)includes Andre, Ana, Rachel, Matais, Stan Douglas)
