Obituary for Tracy Johnson

Tracy Johnson was born on July 19, 1961 to Helen Patricia Johnson and the late Clinton Walter Johnson in Jamaica, New York. She grew up in the heart of Jamaica, Baisley Queens to be exact, where she was the middle child of eight siblings. Two of her brothers Clinton Johnson and Wayne Johnson preceded her in death.
On August 21, 2014 she exchanged this life for everlasting life with Jesus Christ.

Tracy Johnson was an outspoken, passionate, generous, and loyal daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Tracy was well respected and loved by all that met her. As a child, she received her early education in Bayside Queens and later graduated from Cardoza High School. Tracy began a career with the parks Department and furthered her career in the Service industry at Long Island Jewish, New Hyde Park and Grace Plaza, Great Neck where after twenty five years of dedicated service she entered an early retirement due to injury on the job.

Tracy was family oriented, most often you would hear her speak about the importance of family, and she participated and cooked at many gatherings in an effort to pass along recipes an knowledge to the younger generation, she will truly be missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving mother, Helen “Patty” Johnson; two sisters Cynthia Gomes and Lila Johnson; three brothers, Keith Johnson, Bret Johnson and Barry Johnson; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cherished friends.
